Regular maintenance is key to Mercedes-Benz longevity. A strict maintenance plan encourages better performance and reduces part wear on your Mercedes-Benz model. To keep you on the right track, Mercedes-Benz has established two different scheduled maintenance plans — Service A and Service B — to ensure your vehicle is with you for as many miles as possible.
To start Mercedes-Benz ownership or a new lease off on the right foot, a series of key maintenance services grouped into what’s called Service A is strongly recommended. Service A scheduled maintenance for MY09 or newer models includes the following services and required elements:
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED MAINTENANCE PARTS AT HIGHER MILES ARE NOT IN THIS DESCRIPTION. EXCLUDES AMG®, G-WAGONS, GTs AND EQS
Do you have any questions about Service A? Get in touch with Autohaus on Edens in Northbrook, IL, by sending a message or calling (847) 272-7900.
How often should you have Service A scheduled maintenance performed? MY09 and newer Mercedes-Benz models require the first Service A visit at approximately 10,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first, and then approximately every 20,000 miles or two years after that.
Service A and Service B required scheduled maintenance is key to quality care for your MY09 or newer Mercedes-Benz model. Service A is the basic required maintenance routine for a MY09 or newer Mercedes-Benz. When the vehicle reaches its first 20,000 miles or one year after the previous service — and then every 20,000 miles or two years after that — Service B is required. Service B includes all Service A maintenance with the addition of cabin dust/combination filter replacement and brake fluid exchange.
Looking for Service B?
The cost of Service A scheduled maintenance varies based on your Mercedes-Benz model and model year. Please refer to an Autohaus on Edens service representative for more details and recommendations. You can also browse current service offers as well.
