To keep you on the right track, Mercedes-Benz has established two different scheduled maintenance plans — Service A and Service B — to ensure your vehicle is with you for as many miles as possible.
To start Mercedes-Benz ownership or a new lease off on the right foot, a series of key maintenance services grouped into what’s called Service A is strongly recommended. Service A scheduled maintenance for MY09 or newer models includes the following services and required elements:

How often should you have Service A scheduled maintenance performed? MY09 and newer Mercedes-Benz models require the first Service A visit at approximately 10,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first, and then approximately every 20,000 miles or two years after that.
Service A and Service B required scheduled maintenance is key to quality care for your MY09 or newer Mercedes-Benz model. Service A is the basic required maintenance routine for a MY09 or newer Mercedes-Benz. When the vehicle reaches its first 20,000 miles or one year after the previous service — and then every 20,000 miles or two years after that — Service B is required. Service B includes all Service A maintenance with the addition of cabin dust/combination filter replacement and brake fluid exchange.
